DNA, genes, ethnic heritage. Sometimes insignificant but never unavoidable. At times of major importance, empty boxes left unchecked, questions with no answers. That’s what it means to me – partially at least.

My sister’s keeper

A very touching, tragic, sad, thoughtful, story … and it has to sad the ending in the book is more tragic then the ending in the movie starring Cameron Diaz among others. Written by Jodi Picoult, and coincidentally the first book I’ve read about her.

All I know about the movie is that there was two alternative endings and ultimately one was chosen. It’s a really sad story which has many famous and talented actors like Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassileiva, Alec Baldwin, Joan Cusak and Emily Deschanel.

I have too say that it partially was very upseting to me (both the story and the movie although I havn’t watched it). I think you all can guess why…
